Franklin Roosevelt Franklin D. Roosevelt Franklin D. Roosevelt was born in Hyde Park, current York on January 30th, 1882, the son of large number Roosevelt and Sara Delano Roosevelt. His parents and private tutors provided all of Franklinââ¬â¢s formative education. Roosevelt attended Groton, a prestigious preparatory school in Massachusetts in the midst of the age 1896-1900; he received a BA gunpoint in history from Harvard University in only cardinal years (1900-1903).
